KORENIKA

Social Farm Korenika is located in the heart of Goričko Landscape Park, and its park is conceived around the principle of “landscape within a landscape” — native Goričko plants, traditional garden cultivars, and natural materials form a space where ecology, social inclusion, and spiritual dimension intertwine. The centrepiece is a semicircular flower meditation garden organised into four thematic circles based on the elements of fire, water, earth, and air, each with its own plants, materials, and atmosphere. A revitalised orchard, accessible pathways of brick, wood, and wood chips, and native perennials and meadow grasses together create a space that is simultaneously a meditative retreat, a living classroom, and an ecological corridor. The farm encompasses food and medicinal herb cultivation, therapeutic animal care, and a small shop — and throughout the entire process, from conception to realisation, people from socially vulnerable groups and individuals with disabilities are actively involved.
